Is Licorice A Healthy Food? Find Out

Believe it or not, much of the licorice sold in the United States does not contain the herb licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) at all. Most “licorice” candy sold in the US is flavored with anise, contains wheat, is mostly sugar and does not have the health beneficial properties of this medicinal herb.

The benefits of the licorice herb are many, but be mindful of licorice root, which contains glycyrrizin, a compound that can raise blood pressure while supporting adrenal function, and should only be used with the supervision of a knowledgeable practitioner. The other form of licorice, deglycyrrhizinated licorice extract or DGL, does not contain glycyrrizin and is safe to use. It can treat canker sores and heartburn by stimulating the mucous lining of the esophagus and stomach, can soothe gastroesophageal reflux disease, as well as being helpful in relieving symptoms of gastritis and ulcers.

DGL can be found in wafer form or as chewable tablets at your local health food store or online through supplement retailers. Take it between meals or before meals, until your symptoms are lessened or eliminated.

Why Do I Have Bumps on My Scalp | How To Get Rid of Scalp Acne & Folliculitis video.

Why Do I Have Bumps on My Scalp | How To Get Rid of Scalp Acne & Folliculitis Natural Health Remedies
Many people get bumps on their scalp and don’t know how to get rid of them. If you’re looking to understand the cause of your scalp bumps, as well as good treatments to handle the irritation, you’ve come to the right place! This video guide goes into all the detail you need to know, and includes some of the best products to help you treat your bumpy scalp. So, what are the different types of scalp bumps and how can you treat them? 1. Ringworm Ringworm is a scalp infection caused by a tiny fungus called tinea. The signs and symptoms of ringworm include scalp itching, scaling, scalp bumps and patchy areas of hair loss. Ringworm is more common in children, although adults can be affected too. It can be easily spread from person to person by sharing personal items like combs, brushes and towels, and from contact with infected animals, including household pets. A doctor can often diagnose ringworm by simply taking a quick look at your scalp. You can usually treat ringworm with anti-fungal medications or using a medicated shampoo. If you want to prevent it altogether, make sure to shampoo your hair and scalp regularly, practice regular hand washing, and don’t share combs, brushes or personal items with other people. Look for products that will prevent future scaling, too. 2. Folliculitis When hair follicles on your scalp become inflamed, it can sometimes lead to a condition called scalp folliculitis. Folliculitis can’t only be experienced on the scalp; it can also affect the rest of the body, especially in areas that are irritated by tight clothing or shaving. Typically, folliculitis causes red scalp bumps that are tender to touch or itchy. The bumps may be filled with a clear or yellow fluid. It’s caused by bacteria or fungus, and is more common in people who don’t wash their hair regularly, and people who wear tight hats or constrictive head wear. It’s also more common in the summer when the air is hot and humid. Another special type of folliculitis is caused by a bacteria, which comes from soaking or swimming in poorly maintained pools, hot tubs or whirlpools. Treating folliculitis can sometimes be difficult, as some of the bacteria that cause the condition have become resistant to antibiotic ointments available at the drugstore. Shampooing every other day with a mild shampoo that contains tea tree oil could help, as tea tree oil has natural antibacterial properties. In cases that don’t improve with tea tree oil, an anti-fungal shampoo may help to improve your symptoms. For a quick, fix coconut oil is a natural remedy that is often used from many scalp related ailments. 3. Dermatitis A special type of dermatitis can cause one of the most common scalp conditions. It appears on areas of the body where there are lots of oil producing glands, like the scalp, upper back, and sometimes the nose. The exact cause of this dermatitis is unknown. People of any age can develop it, including children, although it most commonly affects adults. Treating the condition early and aggressively is recommended to avoid nastier complications such as hair loss. Preservatives, perfumes and sodium lauryl sulfate can cause itching and flare-ups, so try a natural, fragrance-free alternative and see if that helps. Oils with antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties, like rosemary, tea tree, eucalyptus, lavender and thyme, can help reduce inflammation and treat the infection. You can also prevent outbreaks and soothe existing inflammation by reducing your dietary intake of sugar, preservatives, and processed food, as well as reducing stress, exercising daily, and making sure you’re getting enough sleep. 4. Scalp acne Just like on your face or other parts of your body, acne can form when a hair follicle gets blocked by oil or when grime gets trapped inside. The blockage causes the pore to become inflamed, which can lead to redness and pain or irritation. Scalp acne is often an extension of acne on the face, and is caused by using oily hair products or having greasy hair. You can test to see if you have scalp acne by checking how many bumps you have on your scalp. Like acne on the face, it’s unlikely that scalp acne will cover the whole surface area of your scalp. If this is the case, you probably have another condition, like folliculitis. You can treat acne around the hairline just like you would with acne on your face. First, wash the area with an oil-free cleanser or a medicated shampoo, then apply a topical acne spot treatment or cream to the area. This should reduce acne-causing bacteria and dry up excess oil, which should help the spot clear up within a few days. Treating a bumpy scalp can sometimes be difficult, especially if you don’t know what’s causing the issue. With your new knowledge from this video, you should be able to more accurately diagnose your scalp condition, and work out the best treatment plan going forward. Just be sure to pay a visit to your doctor if your condition worsens

Is Eating More Fat The Way To Lose Weight?

Want to get to and maintain a healthy weight? Try adding healthy fats to your diet. High-carbohydrate, low-fat diets can create a “roller-coaster” effect – after eating, insulin spikes, then dips, leading to irresistible hunger. You can “flatten” the track by adding more heart-healthy fats to your meals, including an extra tablespoon or two of extra virgin olive oil to salads; plain, whole fat yogurt or kefir; avocado; a handful of raw nuts and choosing fattier fish for your entrée or on your salad.

15 Signs & Symptoms of Early Pregnancy Within The First Few Weeks video.

15 Signs & Symptoms of Early Pregnancy Within The First Few Weeks Natural Health Remedies
Knowing the signs and symptoms of pregnancy is important whether you’re looking to fall pregnant or not. For some women, certain symptoms are a sure indication of pregnancy, while other women may only experience one or two symptoms that are less noticeable. Your body is incredibly clever in that it can give you subtle hints that you’re pregnant before you’d even be able to pick it up on a test. We’ll be covering all the signs and symptoms of pregnancy to look out for in this video. 1. Tender, swollen breasts Your breasts may provide one of the first symptoms of pregnancy. As early as two weeks after conception, hormonal changes may make your breasts tender, tingly or sore. Additionally, your breasts may feel fuller and heavier. Some pregnant women report that their breasts were so uncomfortable that even touching them caused a sudden burst of pain. Of course, hormonal changes that come from starting your period can also cause breast tenderness, so don’t judge your likelihood of pregnancy off this symptom alone. 2. Fatigue Feeling tired or fatigued also ranks high among early symptoms of pregnancy. During your very beginning stages of pregnancy, levels of a hormone called progesterone skyrocket. In high enough doses, progesterone can put you to sleep – almost as if it knows that you won’t be getting much of it at all nine months down the line! At the same time, lower blood sugar levels, lower blood pressure and increased blood production may team up to sap your energy during your pregnancy. So if you find yourself absolutely wiped out by the afternoon, or taking frequent naps all of a sudden, you may be pregnant. 3. Slight bleeding or cramping Bleeding during pregnancy isn’t normally a good sign, apart from during your first few weeks after conception. Sometimes a small amount of spotting or bleeding is even one of the first symptoms of pregnancy. It’s known as implantation bleeding, and happens when the fertilised egg attaches to the lining of the uterus, about 10 to 14 days after fertilisation. This type of bleeding is usually a bit earlier, spottier and lighter in colour than a normal period and doesn't last as long. Some women also experience abdominal cramping early in pregnancy. These cramps are similar to menstrual cramps, and you can usually soothe them by taking a warm bath or placing a hot water bottle on the affected area. 4. Nausea with or without vomiting Morning sickness, which can strike at any time of the day or night, is perhaps one of the most well-known signs of pregnancy. Unfortunately, this means that you’ll probably experience a bit of morning sickness yourself when you first fall pregnant. For some women, the queasiness begins as early as two weeks after conception. Nausea seems to stem at least in part from rapidly rising levels of oestrogen, which causes the stomach to empty more slowly. Pregnant women also have a heightened sense of smell, so various odours - such as foods cooking, perfume or cigarette smoke - could cause waves of nausea in early pregnancy. Combatting morning sickness is possible, though some women experience it a lot worse than others. 5. Food aversions or cravings One of the most interesting things about being pregnant is developing cravings and aversions to the most unexpected of foods. When you first fall pregnant, you might find yourself turning up your nose at certain foods, such as coffee or fried foods. Meat, eggs, milk, onions and spicy foods are all popular turn-offs for pregnant women, too. For some women, just the smell of certain foods is enough to make them sick. Food cravings are just as common during early pregnancy. Like most other symptoms of pregnancy, these food preferences can be chalked up to hormonal changes - especially in the first trimester, when hormonal changes are the most dramatic. Peanut butter, chocolate, ice cream, and even plain old ice are popular cravings amongst pregnant women. Some women actually crave spicy foods, too, as opposed to finding them unpleasant. 6. Headaches Early in pregnancy, increased blood circulation caused by hormonal changes may trigger frequent, mild headaches. Headaches are common in the first trimester, and can even be a sign of hunger or dehydration, or associated with caffeine withdrawal. If you’re struggling with headaches during pregnancy, it may help to massage your shoulders and neck or hold an ice pack to your head. Your headache might also be caused by an increase in blood sugar, which you can maintain by eating smaller, more frequent portions throughout the day. 7. Constipation Constipation is another common early symptom of pregnancy. An increase in progesterone causes food to pass more slowly through the intestines, which can cause changes to toilet habits. Signs of constipation include having fewer than three bowel movements per week, bloating, and painful bowel movements.

Super Juice to Strengthen and Energize The Body Natural Cures
It is a fact, you can't increase your immunity. But you can strengthen it. Did you know that? Immunity is how we call the capability the body has of defending itself from invaders, such as viruses, bacteria, or fungi that might cause diseases. In the times we are living right now, we need more than ever to ingest foods that are rich in vitamins, minerals, and other substances that help maintain our immune system. Isn't it true? Thinking about that, we decided to show you an energizing juice to give you more energy and strengthen your body. Carrot, mango, and ginger are the three main ingredients of this recipe to strengthen the body and prevent flu and colds. Do you know why these ingredients are good for the immune system? Carrots The vitamin A found in carrots can improve the anti-inflammatory response of the body, thanks to its antioxidant effects. 3 Reasons To NOT Eat Oats Every Day Video.

3 Reasons To NOT Eat Oats Every Day Natural Cures
As we have seen in a past video, oats are well known around the world. Do you know all of its benefits? Oats can be found in many people's breakfast. It is a cereal rich in fiber and can be found as a flour, rolled oats, or oat bran. Although many people think oats contain gluten, it doesn't. However, most of its production happens in places that also process wheat, which makes oats to be considered a dangerous food for people with celiac. In this process, cross-contamination happens. So, if you are celiac but want to eat oats, it is important to be sure that there is no cross-contamination. Buy gluten-free oats, which must be labeled as so, to avoid contamination. That said, in today's video we will tell you 3 reasons to not eat oats: Has Avenin Have you ever heard of avenin? Avenin is a protein from the same family as gluten, which is why it can cause some similar symptoms in some people. Contains Phytates Phytate, or phytic acid, is an anti-nutrient that links to many minerals, reducing their bioavailability to our body. Has Lectins Today, after many studies, we know that grains and some tubers have lectins on their surface, which are chemical substances that protect the grains from attacks of microorganisms like bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites but are toxic for our bodies. Lectins can be found in all foods, although the quantity varies. Taking all these things into account, does it still make sense to say that eating oats is healthy? Well, comparing it to other grains, oats might be better than wheat and worse than rice (and, even so, oats require way more processing than rice). So, if you are trying to eat better, you can find foods that are tastier and more nutritive than oats. Of course, you can still eat oats, but in moderation, since it still carries some interesting benefits to our health. Now, tell us: Do you eat oats? Do you like oats or do you prefer to stay away from it? ---------------------------------------- For more information and references, check the article on our blog: https://ift.tt/2Xb2ty7 Disclaimer: The materials and the information contained on Natural Cures channel are provided for general and educational purposes only and do not constitute any legal, medical or other professional advice on any subject matter. 8 Natural & Effective Ways to Get Rid of a Double Chin FAST video.

8 Natural & Effective Ways to Get Rid of a Double Chin FAST Natural Health Remedies
If there is one area of flab that’s most difficult to get rid of, it’s the double chin. Of course, instead of being a literal second chin, a double chin is excess fat that accumulates underneath the chin, beneath the lower jawbone. This means that you can actually get rid of it, though it may not be easy to do so. The double chin is a stubborn area to tackle, but if it’s knocking your self esteem or getting you down, you can gradually shrink it down with a bit of perseverance. So, what causes a double chin in the first place? No 1 Weight gain Often, the main cause of a double chin is weight gain. As a double chin is usually excess fat and skin, being overweight can cause accumulation of that extra flab. Rapid weight gain or even weight loss can be a cause as well. No 2 Aging Weight isn’t the only factor that can cause your double chin, though. Your age also comes into play, so if you find yourself getting a double chin in your autumn years, your age could be the answer. When you get older, your skin loses its elasticity, causing the skin around the neck and jaw to sag. No 3 Genetic makeup Additionally, your unique genetic makeup could lead to the development of a double chin, no matter how hard you try to reverse it. In this case, unfortunately, it’s unlikely that exercise or eating habits will make much of a difference to your double chin. No 4 Poor posture Although poor posture isn’t so much of a cause, it can worsen your double chin problems. Think of this: if you’re always slouching in a chair or looking down at your phone, your neck is in a constant state of flexion, which can cause wrinkles and weaken the muscles of that area. No 5 Bad diet As we’ve mentioned, the main cause of a double chin is being overweight. So, it would make sense that poor eating habits, along with an inactive lifestyle, can cause excess fat gain. Fat can accumulate pretty much anywhere in the body, and for some, it accumulates underneath the chin. Luckily, if you’re currently dealing with a double chin, there are more than a few ways to combat it. There’s no need to pay hundreds of pounds on expensive surgery, either, as there’s an abundance of effective natural options to try out. 1. Eat right Simply making sure to fuel your body with proper nutrition and partaking in an active lifestyle is enough to help get rid of double chin. The most common reason for a double chin is weight gain, and the best solution to weight gain is making sure to eat right and exercise frequently. Taking in too many calories and overeating will cause you to put on weight, which you’ll notice as a build-up of fat around the body, including your jaw area. Amending your diet and eating right doesn’t have to mean resisting all of your favourite foods. Just cut down on them and focus on the healthier choices. Try switching out processed foods like refined grains, cereals, crisps, baked goods, and fried foods for more whole foods, like fresh fruits and veggies, lean meats, fish, and whole grains. This will help you to decrease your number of total calories while still keeping you full for longer due to the high fibre and protein intake. 2. Eat mindfully Eating right and eating mindfully are two entirely separate things. Even if you’re eating good foods, if you’re not eating mindfully, you may find yourself eating more than your body actually needs. And if you’re not paying attention to the food you’re putting in your mouth, it’s likely that you won’t even be enjoying it. Eating mindfully is all about slowing down your eating habits, which will help massively with portion control. To eat mindfully, make sure to eat without distractions, such as your TV or phone, and chew slowly. Focus on what you’re eating and the way the food tastes. This will help you to tune into your body more effectively and ultimately eat less than you normally would if you scarfed down your food. Mindful eating applies to snacking, too. If you need to grab something in a hurry, making a mindful decision, such as an apple or granola bar as opposed to chocolates or a bag of crisps, will help to prevent additional weight gain to your chin area. 3. Get out and move Of course, when it comes to preventing weight gain and ultimately losing weight from your double chin, nutrition is only half the battle. An active lifestyle also plays a crucial role in keeping that extra weight off, so be sure not to leave that out of your fat loss mission. As most people live sedentary lifestyles, it’s no surprise that many of us struggle with weight gain and a double chin issue. Even if you’re not the biggest fan of exercise, you will usually be able to find something that suits you. For example, if cardio isn’t your thing, try resistance training two to three times a week. You can use weights, your own body weight, or machines to help tone your muscles and promote fat loss at your own pace.

Lemon Water Is Destroying Your Teeth, Here Is How To Fix It! Video.

Lemon Water Is Destroying Your Teeth, Here Is How To Fix It! Natural Cures
Do you drink lemon water during your fast? We have some videos on the channel where we talk about the benefits of this practice to health. Have you watched them yet? If you want to improve your immunity, include this habit in your daily routine. But it is necessary to take care of your teeth when you drink lemon water. According to researchers from King's College, in the United Kingdom, drinking acidic beverages in between your meals, and drinking them for long periods, might increase the risk of dental erosion. Did you know that? The study, published at the British Dental Journal, had 300 people participating and analyzed the relation between the participant's diets and severe dental erosion. Juices, fruit teas, "diet" beverages, sugary drinks, and flavored water are acidic liquids that can erode the teeth, according to the study. The situation becomes more serious when it takes longer than five minutes to ingest one of these drinks, or when someone "plays" with fruits in their mouth before swallowing it. Did you know that it can deteriorate your teeth? But sugary drinks aren't the only culprits, diet sodas, vinegar, and pickles can also cause dental erosion. The study also says that people who drink water with a slice of lemon or hot teas made of fruits in between meals have 11 times more chances of suffering from medium to serious dental erosion. How To Make The BEST Aloe Vera Gel At Home - QUICK & EASY video.

How To Make The BEST Aloe Vera Gel At Home - QUICK & EASY Natural Health Remedies
Aloe is a popular plant that nearly everyone has around the house. Many people just like the way aloe looks, but you’re missing out if you don’t use the aloe extract from your plant for all of the health and wellness benefits it provides. We’ve probably all heard of aloe vera’s many medicinal and beautifying uses, including its ability to treat sunburn, moisturize skin and soothe irritation. But not many of us will have thought to harvest our own aloe vera gel from an aloe plant. If you’ve got some free time on your hands and you’re looking to get creative, this video will cover everything you need to know about how to make your own aloe vera gel. 1. Gather your equipment To get started, gather your utensils and ingredients. You’ll just need some scissors or a sharp knife to cut through your aloe plant, a chopping board, and a storage container. 2. Wash your hands and tools First, wash your hands and any cutting tools you plan to use. Don’t plan to just tear the leaves off, as this can damage the plant. Equally, using a dirty pair of scissors or knife could contaminate and infect your aloe, which you definitely don’t want if you’re aiming to own a healthy plant that you can harvest from for years to come. 3. Select your aloe plant Make sure to choose your aloe plant well. You’ll want to take the aloe extract from a well-established plant that is at least a few years old. Go for the large, thick leaves that are growing at the base of the plant. 4. Cut as close to the main stalk as you can If you take your cuttings as close to the central stalk as possible, you’ll get more aloe extract from the leaf. Just make sure not to damage the actual central stalk while you’re hacking away. The outer leaves of the plant are best, as they'll contain plenty of fresh, healthy gel. 5. Drain the leaves in a jar or glass After you have cut your leaves, you’ll need to put them in a jar or glass to drain. Aloe contains a yellow-ish latex substance called aloin, which is slightly irritating to the skin, and can cause gastric issues if you ingest it. Let the aloe drain for about 10 to 15 minutes, before rinsing your leaves off with cold water and patting dry. 6. Cut the aloe skin To get at the aloe vera gel the easiest, you’ll want to cut the skin away. Use a small clean, sharp paring knife or a filet knife to remove the skin from your aloe. You’ll notice one side of the leaf is more rounded, and the other side is flatter. Put the flat side down and use your knife to trim away the spines, keeping as close to the edge as possible to prevent waste. If you have large leaves, it may be helpful to cut them into smaller pieces before peeling. 7. Carefully cut the side spines and skin off Flip your leaf over and trim the flat outer skin from your stalk, again keeping your cut as close to the skin as possible. Now you can trim the skin away from the other side. You might find this to be a little tricky, as the aloe vera gel is very slippery, so make sure to take your time. 8. Rinse the gel again By this point, you will be left with a pretty substantial chunk of aloe gel. You’ll need to rinse it again to remove any remaining aloin. And that’s all there is to it. Depending on the size of your aloe plant, two to three leaves should leave you with about half a cup of aloe vera gel. You can use it immediately or store it in a covered container in the fridge for a week. Keep in mind that as it has a fast use-by date, it's best not to make a huge batch at once. Cutting off just a couple of leaves should be enough to make enough to last you for several days. If have made a really big batch of aloe vera gel, and you know you won’t use it up in time, you have the option to freeze it. The sooner you can do so after extracting the gel, the better. To freeze your aloe vera, the best way to store it is by pouring it into ice cube trays. If your gel is on the chunky side, you might want to pulse it with a blender or food processor a few times to make it easier to pour. Once it’s frozen, you’ll just need to pop your aloe ice cubes out of the trays and store them in a zippered freezer bag, squeezing as much air out as possible. Making your own aloe gel really is as simple as that. You might have thought the process required a whole scientific procedure, but you don’t need anything more than your own aloe plant, a suitable cutting tool, and a place to store the gel in your fridge. If you’ve never made aloe vera gel before, give it a try! The process is both enjoyable and rewarding, as you get to benefit from the aloe gel that you harvest. What Causes White Spots on Teeth | How To Cure it - Home Remedies video.

What Causes White Spots on Teeth | How To Cure it - Home Remedies Natural Health Remedies
White spots on teeth can look quite unappealing. While they don’t often indicate bad health, they can affect a person’s self-confidence. If you’re looking for causes of white spots, plus how to get rid of them, we’ll be covering it all in this video. So, what causes white spots on teeth? There are several factors that may be to blame, including: 1. Dental fluorosis People usually get dental fluorosis when they’re young, and it’s caused by consuming too much fluoride as a child. It’s normally a harmless condition that only tends to develop before the teeth break through the gums. 2. Enamel hypoplasia Enamel hypoplasia occurs when a person’s tooth enamel doesn’t form properly. Like fluorosis, hypoplasia only occurs during childhood when a person’s teeth are still developing. This one can increase the risk of tooth decay, so it’s important to talk to your dentist about treatment if you think you might have it. 3. Poor dental hygiene Not brushing your teeth properly can lead to the formation of white spots. This is especially an issue when someone is wearing braces, which make it more difficult to reach all areas of the teeth with toothpaste. 4. Eating too many acidic or sugary foods Eating too many acidic foods can cause white spots on your teeth, because highly acidic foods have the ability to eat away at your tooth enamel, which usually protects your teeth from damage. A diet high in sugar also causes the formation of acidic plaque, which can erode enamel. So How do you get rid of white spots on your teeth Luckily, it’s possible to get rid of white spots, and you don’t need to seek professional treatment, either. Here are some of the most effective at-home changes and DIY remedies to try for reducing your white spots today. 1. Using fluoride-free water For preventing white spots in children, encouraging your child to drink only fluoride-free water should help to prevent excess build-up of fluoride in their teeth. Fluoride is generally found in most tap water, but not in bottled water or filtered water. 2. Brushing with hydrogen peroxide Hydrogen peroxide has bleaching properties and is great for giving your teeth an overall brighten, helping to create a more even colour over the whole tooth. Just mix hydrogen peroxide with some baking powder to form a paste. Take your wet toothbrush, dip it in the mixture, then, brush your teeth for two minutes. Use clean water to rinse your mouth and repeat the procedure as needed. 3. Practicing oil pulling Research has found that coconut oil contains lauric acid, which helps remove potential plaque and gets rid of white spots. To oil pull with coconut oil, take two tablespoons of coconut oil and swish it around your mouth for about up to 10 minutes. Then spit out the oil and wash your mouth out with warm water. 4. Brushing with vinegar Vinegar contains acidic properties that are useful in lifting white spots from teeth. Make your own vinegar paste by mixing equal amounts of vinegar and baking soda. Apply the paste to your toothbrush and brush your teeth for 2 minutes, then rinse your mouth out with water. Do this weekly for the best results. 5. Rubbing with lemons Due to their citric acid content, lemons are a great ingredient for getting rid of white spots from teeth, as well as nourishing your gums and helping you to keep your breath fresh. Just add a pinch of salt to several tablespoons of lemon juice, then rub the mixture into your teeth for 2 minutes. Rinse your mouth out with water and repeat on a daily basis. Just remember though, don’t over do it with this method as lemon juice is acidic and can eventually damage the enamel. 6. Reducing sugary and acidic foods and drinks While changing your diet won’t help you get rid of white spots, it will stop you from developing them in the future. Certain fizzy drinks are particularly bad for your teeth, so switch to diet alternatives or cut down completely if you can. Citrus juices, sugary sweets and chocolate can also cause tooth decay, so limit your intake to keep your teeth healthy and spot-free. 7. Seeing a dentist If you’re concerned about the health of your teeth, the best thing to do is visit your dentist. Keep in mind, though, that although white spots on your teeth might not look so nice, they aren’t usually a cause for concern. Still, it’s worth checking that you don’t have enamel hypoplasia, which could put you at increased risk of tooth damage and decay. If you notice that the white spots on your teeth are changing in size or number, or you’re starting to have tooth pain, you should prioritize seeing your dentist as soon as possible. Overall White spots on your teeth are rarely a cause for concern, but you can easily treat them for cosmetic purposes if you wish. These natural methods of getting rid of your white spots are low-cost – and, in fact, you probably have the ingredients you need in your cupboard.
